First Blood !
By :
The Rich Dude
It was a sunny morning late summer in 1976. It was around seven o´clock and everything was ready for my first whaling adventure.
We were three on board and this journey had been planned as an opportunity for big money.
It was just about nine o'clock that morning that I heard a shout. Whale, Whale! the Captain screamed in frenzy. I was sent up to the barrel in the mast, the Captain ran to the front of the boat to the 50mm gun and the cook took the steering wheel. At that time I was getting very excited. The Captain shouted to me to look for anyting in the sea that might be a shadow of the whale or the white spot on the whales back that I ought to see very clearly when the whale was near the boat.

Easy Gulf Coast Grouper Fishing - Part II - By: Scott Perry
By :
The Rich Dude
Ok, we have caught our bait and are now at or near the 100’ deep area and are ready to see if any grouper are going to cooperate.
Our rig consists of a heavy snap-swivel tied directly to your main line. Make a 2-3 foot leader of 80 to 100lb mono leader and put a heavy swivel one end and a 8/0 hook on the other. Slip enough lead on the snap to keep you on the bottom, usually 12 to 20 oz depending on the wind and tide, and then slip the swivel into the snap also. Hook a baitfish up through the bottom lips out through the top, right next to the fish’s nostril. Sink him down to the bottom and hold on! Sometimes it won’t even hit the bottom before something nasty grabs it.
Norfolk island - By: Sveta Panch

Where the Ocean has always ruled
Located at 28 degress south latitude, only 1.5 hour's flight north from Auckland new Zealand, Norfolk enjoys a sub tropical climate. In summer the average temperature is 70 F; in "winter" it still averages 50 F. In this mild rather than tropical climate, instead of coconut palms lining the island's shores, lines of elegantly upright Norfolk pines guard the coasts. There are several spectacular headlands, such as Rocky Point and Point Hunter, which offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, and golden beaches overlooked by the ubiquitous Norfolk pines.
